Our Daylight Energiser Full Spectrum Bulbs are a great
working light and are a benefit to SAD sufferers as well as everybody as they
give better visual accurity and help you feel less tired whilst reading and
working, however they are not a treatment like a lightbox and cannot give the
same benefits as a lightbox.

The difference between these light bulbs and the
SAD Light Boxes is that the light bulbs do not give you the intensity of light
that you get from a Light Box. To start changing the chemical balance in the
brain research shows that you need a minimum of 2,500 lux (a measurement of
light). The Full Spectrum Bulbs give an excellent quality light but without the
intensity of the medically proven Light Boxes .
These bulbs are available in 11 Watt (60W
equivalent) to 30 watt and a choice of Bayonet Cap (BC) or Screw Cap (Edison
Screw).
