S.A.D Light Boxes - RENT or BUY

Seasonal affective disorder light therapy (using Seasonal Affective Disorder Lamps) has been proved effective in 85% of diagnosed cases. Unfortunately ordinary light bulbs and fittings are just not strong enough to treat SAD. Seasonal Affective Disorder light therapy treatment should be used daily in winter (and dull periods in summer).

Power ratings explained.

As you can see from the menu on the left, Sad-Shop's light boxes have varying degrees of power. Put simply, the higher the power of a light box, the quicker the treatment time. Treatment times vary from around 20 minutes using an ultra high power light box to the slower 1 to 2 hour treatment times of the lower power boxes.

Busier people will need the higher power boxes, with lower power boxes being ideal for people with a little more time to spare (for example those who sit or work at a desk for prolonged periods of time). 

We have made it as easy as possible for you to choose the right equipment by listing the strengths and timings. Treatment times vary from around 20 minutes using an ultra high power lightbox to the slower 1 to 2 hour treatment times of the lower power boxes (Desktop Models,Medium Powered, Lower Powered). Busier people will need the higher power boxes, with lower power boxes being ideal for people with a little more time to spare.
